New Planetary Nebulae Uncovered from [O III] Galactic Plane Survey
In 2024, I performed a survey in [O III] within sections of the galactic plane from both hemispheres. The search uncovered multiple new planetary nebulae (PN), making me the youngest to discover this kind of object (15). Sha-1 contains intricate outflow and halo features, likely originating from a binary system. Sha-2 is a faint, evolved and diffuse planetary nebula. Sha-3 is a distant PN with a well-defined round morphology. Sha-4/5 are unusual, extensive PNs in late-stage evolution.
